Broken Lock was founded by Adam Faingold, a Mornington Peninsula–based creative who has worked as a jeweller for over 15 years. In that time, Adam has built a reputation for custom work, designing and handcrafting hundreds of unique pieces for people, bands, and brands around the world.

Clients and collaborators include Vans Footwear, Architects, Adam Briggs, Flatspot Records, Suicidal Tendencies, Khalil Rountree Jr. and many others with whom Adam has developed long-standing creative relationships.

Broken Lock is more than a name. It’s a metaphor and a daily reminder: no door is locked, and if it is, you have the ability to break it — to take what is yours. 

Broken: ruptured; divided into parts violently.
Lock: any device for stopping the motion of a mechanism.
